Privacy Policy
Imerin is a daily planner for iPhone developed by Andrew Mileta ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: your planner stays on your device, we have no accounts and no analytics, and the only data that ever leaves your phone is the audio or text you explicitly submit through Magic Add.
Your planner data
Tasks, events, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or have any access to them.
No accounts, no tracking
Imerin has no sign-up and collects no name, email, or contact details. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
Magic Add (voice and text input)
When you use Magic Add, the audio recording or text you enter is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server and forwarded to Google's Gemini API, which converts it into structured planner items. This is the sole purpose of the processing.
- Recordings and text are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers, and we do not log their content.
- Google processes this data as our service provider under the Gemini API terms.
- Nothing is sent anywhere until you actively use Magic Add.
Device verification and usage limits
To prevent abuse of the free tier, the app uses Apple's App Attest to prove requests come from a genuine copy of Imerin. Our server keeps two small records keyed by a random App Attest identifier, which is generated by your device and is not linked to your identity:
- a daily usage counter, automatically deleted within 3 days;
- for subscribers, a subscription status record, automatically deleted shortly after the subscription period ends.
Our server infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We receive a cryptographically signed confirmation of the purchase that contains no payment details, name, or email.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. The only parties that process data on our behalf are Cloudflare (server hosting) and Google (speech and language processing for Magic Add), each only to provide the functionality described above.
Children
Imerin is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data tied to your identity, there is nothing for us to look up or export. Server-side records expire automatically as described above. If you have any privacy question or request, contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
